Wadebridge, Cornwall

16th century farmhouse and contemporary retreat

Ideal for exploring North Cornwall

About Costislost

Just a few miles from the Cornish hotspots of Padstow, Polzeath and Port Isaac, Costislost is in prime location for exploring North Cornwall. Set amid 25 acres of beautiful countryside, this 16th century Grade II listed farmhouse has been turned into a stunning health-oriented B&B and retreat. You’ll enjoy original features in all rooms, as well as high-end contemporary finishes and features. Breakfasts are cooked-to-order with organic, locally sourced produce wherever possible – you won’t be able to resist the healthy mushroom, spinach and egg on sourdough toast.

Relax in Costislost’s tranquil garden or meander through the surrounding woodland and fields spotting fox, deer, pheasant, buzzards, stoats, rabbits, hares, owls and woodpeckers. Costislost also offers yoga, a meditation room and FIR sauna to make your stay as rejuvenating and relaxing as possible.

The rooms
Spacious, individually styled bedrooms blend original features with contemporary finishes. Enjoy a relaxing night's sleep in a four poster bed with Egyptian linen. Large, luxury bathrooms with organic toiletries, soft towels and candles ensure a calming and indulgent stay.

On the doorstep and nearby
Aside from the stunning beaches of Polzeath and Padstow, North Cornwall is also home to countless gardens such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 200 romantic acres discovered only 25 years ago under tangle of weeds. Eden is also nearby, as is The Camel - one of the best cycle routes in Britain. The breathtaking trail takes you from sandbanks and rocky shores, to wooded valley thickets and granite-studded moorland.

Worth staying in for ...
Ashtanga yoga sessions during the week (except August) in the large in-house yoga/meditation room.
