Glendon Guesthouse is part of a traditional, picturesque Victorian terrace built in 1857. Located in the historic town of Matlock, the property looks out over Knowleston Gardens and is just a short walk to many local restaurants, bars and shops. You can be sure of a warm welcome, impeccable service and a fantastic breakfast.
Five individually designed en-suite bedrooms including a magnificent Oak four-poster room, as well as twin, double and family rooms. The former spa resort Matlock Bath lies to the south of the town, just a short drive down the A6. The property is located on the south eastern edge of the Peak District and is the perfect base from which to explore the National Park and its abundance of natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage. Just under 10 miles away is the magnificent Chatsworth House, home to the Cavendish family for more than 500 years and one of the premier tourist attractions in the area.
