Harlington, Bedfordshire

Luxurious B&B with beautiful Chiltern Hills views

Nestled in the pretty village of Harlington

About Harlington Manor

Harlington Manor is an exquisite B&B with beautiful views over the Chiltern Hills. Enjoy spectacular 17th-century interiors alongside luxurious, modern bathroom features such as underfloor heating, power showers and even jacuzzis.

Harlington Manor is just a three-minute walk from the train station and is the only building still occupied in which writer and Puritan preacher John Bunyan is known to have stayed.

The rooms
The King Charles is the most opulent of the three rooms at Harlington Manor. Named after King Charles II, who stayed here during the 1670s, the room is decorated in crimson damask, with gilt-fringed curtains and the original 17th-century windows. The £5,000 Vispring mattress guarantees a blissfully comfortable night's sleep.

The stunning Garden Room boasts a Regency four poster bed, beautiful antiques and a spectacular 18ft high ceiling.

The Tabor super-king room is situated in the oldest section of the house and features a jacuzzi and an illuminated coat of arms of the Wingate family.

On the doorstep and nearby
Just five miles away from Harlington is Bedfordshire’s famous Woburn Safari Park, home to over 1000 animals. Take time to enjoy a safari by car or on foot before heading to Woburn Abbey and Gardens, a historic house with over 42 acres of land. Look out for the many special tours, events and exhibitions throughout the year. Sundon Hills County Park is well worth a visit for fantastic walks and views.

For fine dining, you'll be spoilt for choice. The Anchor, The French Horn and The Carpenters Arms are all within a six-mile radius.
