Situated close to the base of Skiddaw you’ll find Pitcairn House, a beautiful Victorian guesthouse run by Heather and Steve. The property is surrounded by spectacular mountain and fell views has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Eight rooms with double, twin and family options available. Most have en-suite bathrooms. Shared facilities are located on the top floor and have views towards Skiddaw and Walla Crag. All rooms have Freeview TV, WiFi, a well stocked hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries. Guests are welcome to make use of the small fridge on the landing.

Just a short walk from Pitcairn House you’ll find the many shops and restaurants that Keswick town centre has to offer. Be sure to enjoy an afternoon of rowing, kayaking or stand-up paddle on Lake Derwentwater or a performance at its famous Theatre by the Lake. Heather and Steve are happy to provide maps and walking guides for you to make the most of the various routes around the Lake District. The town of Whitehaven and its popular beach can be reached in under 45 minutes.

Need to know
Unfortunately Pitcairn House does not accept infants. Pets are not allowed. Drying facilities are available and there is a secure yard for bike storage. There is a small car park at the rear of the property and ample free street parking.
