In the Shropshire village of Bucknell sits School House B&B, a relaxing countryside escape surrounded by beautiful views. With luxurious rooms and delicious, homemade food, a stay at School House is a true home-from-home experience.
Three spacious en-suite rooms, each with comfortable king size or super king beds and complimentary Duck Island toiletries. The charming Caradoc room looks out over Caer Caradoc and the surrounding hills, the home-from-home Brineddin suite has wonderful views over Brineddin Wood and the large ground floor Redlake room looks out over the lake. Brineddin can be made up as a twin room and Redlake is dog-friendly. All rooms have a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
On the doorstep and nearby
Make the most of the idyllic countryside by exploring one of the many nearby footpaths that the Shropshire Hills has to offer. The medieval town of Ludlow is filled with a variety of markets and restaurants and Ludlow Castle is just a 30 minute drive away. The Phil Price Rally School is also easily accessible. For those that prefer cycling, the downhill MTB routes of Hopton Woods are worth a visit. The Shropshire Cycleway can also be easily joined from Chapel Lawn, just outside the B&B.
